The third Sherpas meeting and Sous Sherpas were held under the chairman of India on Tuesday.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary (CPV & OIA) and Brics India Sherpa, Sanjay Bhattacharyya.

Brics Sherpas reviewed preparations for the next 13th Brics Summit to be held on Thursday (September 9) in a virtual format under the Chairperson of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sherpa discussed the results of the summit, including the declaration of New Delhi.
They adopted the revised Bric reference acceleration to guide Brics’s involvement.
The discussion occurred in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.
Sherpa praised India because of its success in advancing intra-brics cooperation even though the challenges were caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and building in the theme ‘BRICS @ 15: Intra-BRICS cooperation for continuity, consolidation and consensus.

Viswanathan, a leading fellow (ORF), and the Pro-Tempore chairman of the Brics Civil Forum, Dr.
Sachin Chaturvedi, DG RIS, presented the final report on each track to Sherpa.
