KOLKATA: There’s a candy surprise beneath the pandemic gloom. Mangoes have flooded the marketplace from shelves to cellular sellers. The rates are easy on the pockets because the distribution is plentiful, state oil sellers. There’s more great news in the coming weeks if more types in Bengal, Bihar and UP may soon arrive. “It will be a great season for strawberry lovers. Several types are available and in plentiful amount. Rates are cheap as the source was great,” said Shahid Ahmed Khan, joint secretary of this Calcutta Fruit Merchants’ Association. Throughout the improved constraints, vehicles taking edibles are permitted to move freely. Dealers in India’s most important fruits marketplace of Mechua state the majority of the forms selling at the marketplace — such as Gulab Khas, Totapari, Rani and Langra — are far out of southern areas of the nation.
