THE HAGUE: British attorney Karim Khan has been sworn in Wednesday as the new chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Court, pledging to reach out to countries which aren’t members of the courtroom and also to attempt to maintain trials in states in which crimes are perpetrated.
Khana 51-year-old English attorney, has decades of expertise in international attorney for a prosecutor, investigator and defense lawyer.
He takes more than Fatou Bensouda of Gambia, whose nine-year expression ended Tuesday.
