LONDON: The ball is in the Chinese court when it comes to holding the UN COP26 COP26 climate change conference in November success, Alok Sharma England, President Summit, Sunday.
Sharma, who said it was “constructive and very honest” during a visit to China earlier this month, said China’s President Xi Jinping had not confirmed whether he would attend the Summit.
“In every conversation I have with Chinese people, they are very clear that they want to see COP26 as success so that the ball is very much in their court,” Sharma told Sky News.
