Nottingham (United Kingdon): Fast English Bowler Jofra Archer will miss the Twenty20 World Cup and the ashes in Australia after the British cricket board and Wales announced on Thursday, he had been ruled out with an elbow injury.
The ECB said in a statement that scans last week on the right of 26-year elbow which was ruled out now it has revealed he suffered a recurrence of stress fracture.
“Responding to these findings, he has been ruled out for the rest of this year and will miss the LV insurance test series = insurance experts against India, the T20 World Cup ICC 2021 and the ash series in Australia,” added the ECB statement.

But he is now facing the prospect of injury that has the potential to end his career, with great doubts about whether the Bowler born in Barbados will be able to continue the 13 match career with five-day demands.
Archer was first diagnosed with stress fractures in his bowling arm after a tourist strike in South Africa 2019-2020, before returning to action.
He has since been treated with cortisone injections in the joints, the latest during a hits other injury in India earlier this year.
