Bengaluru: Indian students can now stay longer in the UK (UK) after completing their studies as part of the new postgraduate immigration route.
On Thursday, the secretary of the British home, Priti Patel launched the application for the New Postgraduate Immigration route, which provides an opportunity for talented international students who have been awarded their degree to live in England and work, or find work, at least two years of skill level.
As part of the route, applicants who succeed at the undergraduate level or teacher can remain in the UK and work, or find work, at any skill level for two years while doctoral students can stay for three years.
It will also help the government to achieve ambitions stipulated in international education strategies to increase the number of international students in higher education in the UK to 600,000 in 2030.

This change will benefit tens of thousands of students from India.
Last year, more than 56,000 Indian citizens were given a student visa – a 13% increase in the previous year and almost a quarter of all students who were released by England.
Convenient application process
In a press release, the British High Commission also said that the application process for routes was also convenient – for the first time, most applicants to postgraduate routes could also apply full of digital ways, using a check of the UK Immigration ID smartphone application.
