LONDON: British police said they had caught two people in connection with hostages – taking hostages in a synagogue in Texas.
Counter North West Terrorism police said a man was arrested on Thursday in Birmingham, Central England, and another in the city of Manchester.
They were held to be questioned and had not been demanded.
Malik Faisal Akram, a 44-year-old British citizen, brought four hostages in the Texas Synagogue in a 10-hour deadlock which ended with his death.
Akram entered the United States as a tourist about two weeks earlier and spent time at the Dallas regional homeless protection before the Saturday’s attack in the Beth Israel Congregation, on the outskirts of Colleyville.
Two English teenagers were arrested as part of an inquiry on Sunday and then released at no cost.
