London: England forward Jadon Sancho has been ruled out from World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Poland after suffering “small beats”.
Sancho longed for England’s 4-0 victory in Hungary on Thursday because of the problem he suffered in training.
The 21-year-old will not play a role against Andorra at Wembley on Sunday or in a clash Wednesday with Poland in Warsaw.
“After further assessment, the 21-year-old player has returned to his club and is expected to recover in time for the Manchester United match with Newcastle United on Saturday 11 September,” said a statement of the English Football Association on Saturday.
Sancho has appeared in all Premier League matches since joining Borussia Dortmund in the close.
He made his first start to the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team in a 1-0 victory at Wolves before an international vacation.
Sancho, who has three goals in 22 appearances for England, saw his sentence saved in the two-lion defeat against Italy in the Euro 2020 final in July.
