Lucknow: The broker who brought the gift of Rs 5 lakh on his head was arrested from Locality Gomtinagar in Lucknow on Monday.
Shweta Srivastava, Assistant Commissioner of Police Gomtinagar, confirmed the arrest of Asif Naseem.
“Asif and his brother Naseem has a real estate company that has 284 FIR registered on it in the Lucknow district, Prayagraj, and Varanasi,” he said.
All 284 cases are currently under the wing probe of the Wing (EOW) of the Uttar Pradesh police while the Directorate of Enforcement also investigated the case of the owner of the real estate company.
It has submitted a case under PMLA Act, 2002, on January 28, this year.
Last month, the state government had announced RS 5 Lakh’s prize on information that led to the desired arrest accused – Rashid Naseem and Asif Naseem.
RS 1 lakh cash each announced accused of accusing – Ashish Kanojiya, Nitin Jaiswal, Jasim Khan, Abhishek Yadav and Mohammed Shahid.
All these fifth is Aides of Rashid and Asif.
