Bronze Hockey is just the beginning, hoping for Sagar Vivek

Chennai: When the Indian Hockey Team suffered a 1-7 defeat that was embarrassing to Australia at the Olympics, Vivek Sagar Prasad obtained mental strength from his own experience.
Four years ago, the midfielder defeated injury to a spoonful of life and other severe complications with grit and the spirit of his battle before hitting the restart button.
The 21-year-old was later trained under the legendary Ashok Kumar – a 1972 Olympic bronze winner – before the voter sent him to the National Camp.
However, it is not easy to impress coach India Graham Reid.
Australia feels vivek, with a height of 2 in and Lean Physique, will fight against strong and sturdy Europeans and Latin America.
But Vivek focuses on his strength – Fast movement and turning off the ball, fast turns and acceleration – to become the most promising Hockey young man.
The peak moment came when he scored a field goal against Argentina to help India make a quarter at the Olympics.
“As long as the Olympics, we did not think of the past but focus on the future.
We lost 1-7 but we concentrate on what we can do right.
There are 10 players who made their Olympic debut.
Senior shared their experiences and said that we It should not be happy with only playing matches at the Olympics.
They say it is important for the mentality to change and aim for medals.
I also have the experience of losing the semifinals in CWG and Asian Games and playing Drew from my personal experience.
I believe that we must focus on what is It’s in our control and it gives me mental strength to handle losses and achieve success, “Vivek said during virtual media interactions on Thursday.
India won a medal – bronze – after 41 years and Vivek felt the team had aimed at raising the bar higher.
“While pursuing my dream of hockey, I was told that we would face failure more often than success.
But I hope the bronze medal will lead a new start to hockey.
We will get more support and followers and will raise our level of confidence.
We has set a benchmark now and we will see to raise the bar higher.
We emphasize it now because it has a winning mindset, “Vivek, made of Madhya Pradesh cm Shivraj Singh Chouhan with DSP work, RS 1 Crore Cash Prize and a house, pathetic.
Bronze has also increased expectations in the Hockey and Vivek teams feel the players need to learn to deal with pressure like the way they do it at the Olympics.
“At the Olympics, there are many interfects and we have to deal with expectations.
There are also food disorders.
But we have to maintain our diet.
The weather is hot and we have to manage our bodies and rest in our room rather than exploring.
So we need to follow similar disciplines.
If we want to maintain this success, “he said.
