Kabul: Video recordings have emerged from what appeared to be the police chief of Afghanistan which was brutally executed by the Taliban after he surrendered to the group.
A video posted circulating on Twitter seems to show Hajj Mullah Achakzai, who led the police in Bagdhis province in Herat.
The man in the clip was blindfolded and knelt before several bullets ringing and his body was not non-jarred to the ground, the New York Post reported.
“This is their public amnesty,” A US journalist who posted a clip on his account wrote in sarcastic comments.
This video follows the “General Amnesty” which was announced on Tuesday by the Taliban for all Afghan government officials and urged them, including women, to return to work.
Terrorist groups also shared videos through the Taliban-related network, Afghan Nasser Waziri’s security adviser, who personally knew Achakzai, to Newsweek added that the clip was verified by police officers and other government officials.
The Taliban has also released 340 “political prisoners” in Farah Province in West Afghanistan.
Afghanistan witnessed the worst crisis for decades because Taliban control has forced people to seek evacuation because they fear the cruelty they might face under the Taliban.
Afghanistan has flocked to Kabul airport to escape from the Taliban.
Terrorists on the streets of Kabul are reported to prevent people from entering the airport using strength.
The situation continued to deteriorate at the airport and around the perimeter, which was under the control of the Taliban.
Immediately after the terror group claimed control of the Afghan capital, several countries evacuated their diplomatic personnel from the country, and thousands of people flocked to Kabul airport in a desperate effort to leave Afghanistan.
The world observes ongoing situations in Afghanistan when countries have rushed to evacuate their citizens from Afghanistan in an effort to secure their people.
