The Additional Director General (Head Office) JS Gangwar said, “The new law has incred the security settings of the installation notified by the government in the state.
BSAP will be able to do their special work more professionally and thoroughly with the special power given to them.
“A senior police officer said the suspect who was detained to be interrogated would be handed over to the police station concerned for further legal action after evidence of their involvement in suspicious activities found in the installation premise that the government was notified.
“This law gives an independent identity to BSAP,” he said, adding that the command Thursday would not affect the routine police committed by personnel used in the police station about legal tasks and orders.
