Chandigarh: Former Chief Minister Punjab captain Amarinder Singh said on Thursday that the operational jurisdiction of the Security Border (BSF) should not be politicized because it concerns national security.
In a series of tweets, he said that extending BSF’s operational jurisdiction did not violate the Punjab Federal Authority.
“Expanding BSF’s operational jurisdiction does not violate the Federal Punjab Authority or the competency question of the State Police in maintaining law and order, because some political interests of the property rights trying to know.
