Lucknow: If everything goes well, Birbal Sahni Institute of Paleoscience (BSIP) will soon become a constituent from the National Science Research University.
The Department of Science and Technology is making efforts to establish its first National Science and Technology Research University (NSTRU), and the scientific institute such as BSIP will be a constituent.
The department will establish a university by utilizing the research strength of autonomous research and development institutions working in the fields of science and technology.
Speaking during the founding day celebration on Sunday, Director of BSED Profan Prasad said, “BSED will also be under the NSTRU umbrella.
Like the University, the Institute will also offer postgraduate courses in science.
This step will strengthen the Institute’s research output.” Prof.
Vandana said the idea behind bringing an institution under the NSTRU was to make a sign in the ranking of global scientific research where research strength of all Indian scientific institutions was presented as one and not as an individual unit.
BSIP also released a 20-minute documentary which includes a noble 75-year-old trip, an annual report and video take a walk from the new Building Institute.
The chairman on occasion, secretary, serdst, Sandeep Verma, talked about the policy, technology, and policy of the Government-2020 innovation (STIP-2020).
“Stip-2020 will make India in Independent Technology and soar India to the League of Three Scientific Firewal countries.
This will be interesting, maintaining, strengthening, and maintaining human capital through science and technology that is centric and will build individual and institutional superiority,” Verma said .
