Written by news2in

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) reportedly stopped his prepaid broadband service.
According to a report by Kerala Telecom, services will be stopped in all telecommunications circles in this country.
At present, BSNL offers prepaid broadband services only on Digital Subscriber Line (DSL).
According to the report, BSNL has directed all telecommunications circles to migrate all prepaid DSL broadband customers to the postpaid DSL Broadband.
BSNL Prepaid Broadband Services offers high-speed broadband internet access without limits to customers.
Another advantage of prepaid broadband including mobility, control over internet costs, sharing DSL broadband connections and more.
Prepaid Telco broadband plans start from Rs 200 and rise to RS 3,000.
Why does BSNL stop prepaid broadband services? According to Kerala Telecom reports, the customer base in the prepaid broadband segment is very small.
This is because this reason BSNL has decided to close the service and migrate prepaid broadband customers to postpaid services.
What happens to the prepaid account balance? The prepaid account balance that exists from existing customers will be credited to the postpaid account.
During the migration of prepaid broadband services to postpaid broadband services, customers will have the option to choose BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) or Bharat Airfiber (BAF) connections because the DSL broadband connection has limitations in the maximum download and upload speed.
BSNL announced a special offer for migrating land connections to Bharat Fiber (FTTH) the report said that BSNL has introduced a special discount scheme for existing land customers to ensure smooth migration to BSNL FTTH.
As part of the scheme, land customers can take advantage of the maximum discount RS 600 while migrating to Fiber Bharat.
Furthermore, they will be able to maintain the existing home telephone number when increasing their old BSNL telephone connection into Bharat fiber.
To maintain a home phone number on BSNL FTTH, someone needs to ask for the same land number when sending the application form.
