BSP Corporator accuses bias in fund allocation

Written by news2in

Nagpur: The day after the Opposition leader Tajaji said the alleged difference in the distribution of funds by Deputy Mayor of Manha Dhawde, Bahujan Yajj Party (BSP) (BSP) Party (BSP) Jitendra Ghodeswar approached Commissioner of Radhakrishnan B, claiming that the funds intended for The weaker part of the community is not allocated to the Corator of his party.
Ghodeswar claimed that the ruling party company and Chairman of the Durbal Ghatak Committee (weaker) Kanta Rarokar released funds for work only in constituencies represented by BJP Corporators.
Ghodeswar warned the performance of demonstrations outside the civil headroom if things did not improve.
In a letter to the Head of Civil, Wanve accused a massive deviation in the allocation of RS3 Lakh funds for various development work by Dhawde.
Urge the city commissioner to issue work stop commands, Wanve searched for an investigation into the funds approved by the Deputy Mayor.
According to Wanve, the work is allegedly split under the deputy mayor fund to avoid the tender process.
“NMC engineers are also involved in this fraud,” he said.
Although Dhawde denied Wanve’s allegations, Corporators from Congress, BSP, NCP and Shiv Sena had claimed for years that the ruling party focused on the development work represented by them.
This is not the first time BJP in power in NMC faces the accusation.
In the past too, Congress, NCP and BSP had accused the bias in the allocation of funds by NMC.
Corporator Senior Ramesh Congress Punekar has accused the NMC ruled by BJP from hiding information about the distribution of development funds.
“In 2017, I have been looking for information from the Civic administration and the panel standing about the allocation of Ward-wise funds, but in vain,” he said.
Punekar accused that BJP leaders did not provide work sanctions in the environment represented by other parties.
The ruling party leader in the NMC and Senior BJP Corporator Avinash Thakane calls the accusations of corporators from other parties “baseless”.
He said since 151 members of the NMC House, BJP has 108, Congress 29, BSP 10, Shiv Sena 2, NCP 1 and independent members 1, it is clear that the funds allocated in the ward ruled by BJP will be more.
But Thakary claims that every corporator receives at least RS1 crore funds every year for basic development work.
In addition, the Chairperson of the Stand Committee, Mayor and Deputy Mayor allocated funds for various large development jobs even in the ward represented by Congress or BSP Corporators, said Thakary, citing Ghodeswar’s recently received special funds from RS50 Lakh funds.
“Wanve also received more than RS5 Crore for various works in his ware in the past three years,” he said.
“It’s okay besides their frustration ahead of the Selection of NMC due at the beginning of 2022,” Thakta added.
