‘BSY is free to go Karnataka tour, no need to find a nod’

Mysuru: The BJP National Secretary General who was responsible for Karnataka, Arun Singh, on Tuesday said the party would not stop the country tour proposed by former CM BS Yediyurappa after the Ganesha festival.
“He is an experienced leader and does not need to ask permission from Kuningan to get around the country because it is intended to strengthen the party,” Singh told reporters in Mysore.
“We will definitely use the experience (Yediyurappa) in Karnataka to make a further breakthrough and form its own government in the state after 2023 assembly of polls,” he added.
Yediyurappa recently announced that he would start a state tour “to strengthen the party” and took him back to Karnataka in 2023.
He even acquired a luxury car (Toyota Vellfire) worth more than Rs 1 Crore for this program.
There was a buzz that Yediyurappa planned a tour to reaffirm his leadership on the party and subtly promoted his son by Vijayendra, which was reportedly annoyed because he was not considered for the CM cabinet bommai.
Singh, who landed in Mysuru on Monday night, held a meeting with MySuru, Mysore Rural, and the carrier of the Chamarajanagar District Office on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, he will lead the meeting of Hassan and Mandya’s office carriers and the next day, a meeting of Bengaluru North, South and Central Unit.
Singh said that BJP will bow on the development agenda and express confidence about the party that won the maximum number of seats in the old Mysuru area, where he did not have much attendance.
“JD (s) sinks and BJP grows …
we will go with the development …
JD is also in power, but they haven’t done anything.
When people compare the Congress-JD government for BJP, we are far ahead,” said Singh .
Due to the lack of representation to MySuru Regency, Chamarajanagar and Hassan in the Bommai Cabinet, Singh said everything could not be accommodated because there was a limit.
Asked about the establishment of the Party at Caste Census, he said the government would make a decision after consulting with all stakeholders.
“However, we believe in all well-being, regardless of the caste.
The state and central government scheme is for all well-being,” he said.
In some ministers openly voiced displeasure of the allocation of portfolio, Singh said the party was the highest concern and individuals must be abandoned.
He said everyone had to work for the welfare of the people of the country.
Meeting with Yaduveer: Arun Singh met Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Scion of the MySuru Royal Family, at the Housing Palace bordering Mysuru Palace and held talks with him.
While the party leaders said it was a courtesy call, the meeting assumed that the significance considered the efforts of several leaders to get royal family members to join the party.
