New Delhi / Bengaluru: Chairman of the BS Minister Yediyurappa met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi on Friday after taking rented flight with several family members from Bengaluru.
Both of them spoke for half an hour in the middle of the buzz about the cabinet changes.
Yediyurappa, who often faced speculation about his time in the office, laughed at talk about leadership changes.
“I don’t know rumors about leadership changes.
You told me,” he told reporters shortly after one-on-one with Modi.
He added that he only discussed the problem related to development and would return to Bengalaru on Saturday.
He tends to meet Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Interior Minister Amit Shah before flying back.
The minister’s office said that Yediyurappa asked the Prime Minister to fulfill Karnataka’s old demand to hold a US consulate in Bengaluru.
He also sought Help Rs 6,000 Crore for the proposed peripheral ring road and national status for the top Bhadra project.
Yediyurappa, his son and vice president of BJP Negara by Vijayendra, grandson Shashidhar Maradi and the MLC party Lehar Singh flew to Delhi on Friday afternoon.
There are reports that other family members, including MP Son by Raghavendra, will also join him, but his office denies it.
Before meeting Modi, Yediyurappa said he would discuss the problem like the Mekedatu project.
According to some people in BJP, he wanted to rule his cabinet by dropping several seniors and brought fresh blood, such as Modi recently.
He went to Delhi to get a vacation.
