The K-pop BTS superstars, which have been appointed as ‘special presidential envoys for future generations and cultures’, delivered a
Strong speech and moving in the 76th United Nations General Assembly.
The band, consisting of RM, V, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope and Suga shared their thoughts about the Covid-19 crisis, the need for direct climate action, the stories of youth and hopes for a brighter future.
Introduced by the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, BTS shared their comments during the Moment of SDG (Sustainable Development Objectives) as a representative of young people today.
This is the third time the band gave a speech at the United Nations after their previous appearance in 2018 and 2020.
