Annual budget for 2022 has left certain parts of the film industry that feels annoyed, while others see the silver layer.
Etimes reached out to producer Mukesh Bhatt and Leena Jaisani, assistant secretary general and head – FICCI entertainment division, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, to record their views on the latest budget and its initiative for filmmaker / producer or lack.
Speaking of the positive, Leena Jaisani said, “The announcement of the AVGC task force is a step that is very welcomed by the current government.

Mukesh Bhatt on the other hand has a more critical view.
He said, “We should be a soft power of the nation, but unfortunately we have zero recognition or support from any government in power.
The industry was forced to close the store during a pandemic.
Give us something, we will not tell you what we want, You evolve people, you know this industry is bleeding.
At least we give us the recognition that we are also part of the ecosystem.
How can you separate and put us in the trash? ”
Bhatt shows that he is not angry.
He said, “We are hurt.
One day, you will wake up and realize that we are also there.” He also stated that all political parties had the same view towards the film industry.
He said, “It has nothing to do with this political party or the political party.
This has happened forever and for some strange reason, best known to them, they really ignore us.”
Mukesh Bhatt also felt that the government tended to use a single page while evaluating the entire film industry.
And he felt that this practice was unfair.
He said, “We have no right to request.
The industry has been closed effectively for two years.

This industry is not about Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.
