Guwahati: Even when the BJP in power hopes that the union budget will accelerate the investment cycle and create more work, the main opposition parties in Assam cannot find hope for “no” from the budget delivered by the Finance Minister Union Nirmala Sitharaman.
Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Pradyut Bordoloi said the reddish image of the generation of employment was a hypothesis.
“The numbers (work) are not available from Bonafide sources in this country today.
They have closed all agents that truly provide generations of employment or unemployment rates.
Six million promised jobs do not seem to be maintained,” said Bordoloi.
But he said the GST number reached new heights and allocation of government designation, including MSP for rice and wheat promising.
“I have been very taken for the past year from Ambit MSP, northeast is almost completely abandoned.
The government makes injustice by not distributing MSP,” he added.
Bordoloi said the finance minister basically highlighted the superstructure of roses, citing sensex and economic activity rose, which he felt was “cheating”.
“The number of billionaires has risen in the country but at the same time the number does not increase,” he said.
Congress Deputy Leader at Lok Sabha and Kalibibor MP Gaurav Gogoi accused that the budget has focused on the interests of big business friends PM Modi.
“It hasn’t handled unemployment and inflation problems.
This budget will only increase inequality and leave the biggest part of our vulnerable population and depend on handouts,” Gogoi tweeted.
He said rural requests and consumption were still ignored by Modi PM.
The Head of AIUD and MP Dhubri Badruddin Ajalal called budget 2022 “was very disappointing for the nation, Assam and Minority”.
“It is hoped that the Minister of Finance will offer several strong plans to revive the country’s economy which is influenced by pandemic, providing assistance to ordinary people, and will bring hope to small traders but unfortunately he failed to do it,” he said.
He said ordinary people who faced problems because Covid-19 expected relieved in the income tax plate but the 2022 budget had not provided assistance to taxpayers.
“The 2022 budget is disappointing for salary and middle class.
It also fails to provide assistance to the poor, youth, farmers, and small traders.
The Minister of Finance repeats the old promise in a new way and also adds some new promises with big words with big words With big words with big words with big words in budget speeches, “said Ajmal.
He felt that the budget failed to present a road map to create jobs.
“The budget will bring inflation and encourage important commodity prices that will affect ordinary people,” he said.
Ajmal, however, appreciates a minor increase in the budget for a minority of Rs 4,810 Crore in 2021 to Rs 5,020 Crore in 2022.
But he said in 2021, only Rs 4,346 Crore used from the CRORE RS 4.810 allocated.
“The budget allocation is very low given the retardation of the minority community and the population ratio,” he urged.
Supremo AIudf welcomed the initiative of the construction of the Prime Minister for the northeastern region (PMDevine), but said Rs 1,500 Crore was a very small amount for eight countries.
“We also welcomed a small increase in the budget for the Ministry of Don from Rs 2,658 Crore in 2021 to Rs 2,800 Crore in 2022,” said Ajmal in a statement.
He said the budget failed to provide financial packages to people affected by floods from Assam and could not announce plans to control the Brahmaputra river which caused destruction in Assam every year.
“Failure to provide funds for the construction of the Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge over the Brahmaputra River.
The budget failed to announce funds for the rise of cachar and nagaon paper mills,” added Agrimal.
