The Ministry of Education has received a record of budget allocation for future books.
The ministry has been allocated RS 1,04,277.72 Crore for the financial year (FY) 2022-23.
This budget allocation witnessed a surge of 11.86 percent, namely RS 11,053.41 Crore higher than 2021-22.
There has been an overall increase of Rs 8,575.71 Crore (15.63 percent) in budget allocation for the Ministry of Education & Literacy of Schools at FY 2022-23 of TA 2021-22.
The overall budget allocation at TA 2022-23 is Rs 63,449.37 Crore from where the scheme allocation is RS 51,052.37 Crore and non-schematic allocation is Rs 12,397 Crore.

There has been an overall increase in Rs 2,477.7 Crore (6.46 percent) in the budget allocation of the Ministry of Higher Education in TA 2022-23 of TA 2021-22.
The overall budget allocation in FY 2022-23 is Rs 40,828.35 Crore from which the allocation of the RS 7.454.97 scheme allocation of crore and non-schemes is Rs 33,373.38 Crore.

This intervention will increase and strengthen the ecosystem of education and skills in this country.
Pradhan highlighted the ministry’s efforts to unite quality education that will get strength with digital university settings and expansion of one first-class TV channel program PM e-Vidya from TV channels 12 to 200.
He said that digital universities will be built on the model of network hub-spoke, with the best university collaboration and public institutions in the country and it will provide access to students throughout the country, for world-class quality universal education in front of their doors in various Indian languages .
The expansion of one class TV channel program will allow all countries to provide additional quality education in regional languages ​​for class 1-12, he added.
Budget 2022 has announced that 750 virtual laboratories in science and mathematics, and 75 e-labs for skilled with the simulation learning environment, must be set by 2022-23.
According to the Minister, extensive use of technology will be very important in providing access to quality education for all children.
Integration of technology in the teaching and learning process will be the game-changer in the future because it will empower teachers, giving them autonomy, and promoting innovative pedagogy which will ultimately lead to improved children’s learning outcomes.
