Budget Rail 44% more than last year ‘

Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) General Manager Anshul Gupta on Thursday said the budget allocation of dirty trains for the northeastern state for 2022-23 is Rs 11,428.86 Crore, which is 44% more than the average of 2009 -14 quota Resolved until Guwahati.
“In accordance with the Indian train policy, working for electrification 100% NFR route is also ongoing.
This 100% electrification policy will provide a boost to the economy of northeastern countries and bring the NF Railway equivalent to other electric trains,” he said.
He said work for electrification occurred in 210 parts of the RKM in NFR which might occur filled by March 2022.
Maute to complete work in the remaining 3216 RKM was March 2024.
