Patna: Head of Bihar Minister Nith Kumar has praised the trade union government to present the ‘balanced budget’, but his party Janta Dal (United) was very disappointed that the budget had no provision to provide a special category status to the state.
“The historic Union budget for developed countries, but disappointing Bihar.
Finance Minister Union @NSithAnman has disappointed all residents of Bihar by ignoring our request to provide the status of the Special Category to the State,” JD (U) Chair of the National Parliament and Former Minister of Union Upendra Kushwaha Tweeted In Hindi as soon as Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman completed his budget speech at Lok Sabha.

We continue to raise this request before the trade union government.
If Bihar gets the status of the state special categories or a special economic package, CM Development Work Nith Kumar will be faster, “Kushwaha said to the Toi.
State President JD (U) also shows that the new scheme – Pradhan Mantri Purvottar Vikas Yojana – is being launched for northeastern countries.
For this, the initial provisions of Rs 1,500 Crore are being made.
“In the same pattern, if some special attention will be given to Bihar in the Union budget, we will be happier,” Kushwaha said.
A spokesman for the party and former MLC, Ranbir Nandan said, “We have a very high hope that the NIRMALA Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman will provide some decisions towards the status of the Special Category to Bihar in this budget.
But, we are once again disappointed.” Nandan also Said the Bihar government has accelerated all development work under the leadership of CM Nith Kumar.
If the state gets a special category status, the development project will be implemented more effectively.

However, the state is in the retardation phase for different reasons.

Both legislative houses Bihar has issued a round resolution in supporting demand, “said Lalan in his tweet posted in Hindi on Monday.
