Build Lift Corridor for Jumbos’ Safe Passage in Deustor Beel: Head of Minister Assam Himanta Buswa Sarma

Guwahati: Following repeated elephant deaths mainly caused by a train accident at BEEL Deustor, Minister Assam Minister Himanta Buswa Sarma asked MOS to train Darshana Jardosh to help build the corridor elevated to provide free roads from CMO, a statement issued by CMO .
said.
The Union Minister met with CM at the last official residence here and discussed several important train projects applied in Assam.
During the discussion, Sarma asked Jardosh to accelerate the electrification work of the uppermost border in the area which fell below Assam.
He asked him to speed up work on doubling the track.
CM also urged him to extend the double track project until he was brought.
Sarma also asked him to increase the frequency of Rajdhani running between New Delhi and Agartala through Valley Barak for the convenience of passengers.
