Chennai: Nadu Tamil Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Tnrera) has directed Saharan Prime City Ltd to compensate for 20 home buyers for incomplete housing projects in Saravanampatty in Coimbatore.
The complainant accused that there was no development progress in the project and not one flat or villa was handed over to the buyer of the house.
The promoter said the planning permit was obtained in 2011, but the company’s group assets were frozen, which could not access bank accounts as well as the project implementation.
Against this background, the developer observes that they cannot be blamed both for the delay in completing the project or project implementation.
Hearing both parties, the Tnrera G Saravanan court officer said the complainants were entitled to a refund and compensation.
Real estate authorities also observe that promoter arguments that are preferred by home buyers on the foundation are similar to the forum for the recovery of the state consumers are not sustainable because there are no details about the complaints produced.
