Gurgaon: Thane-based pair has submitted a case against developers for allegedly deceiving them from Rs 30 Lakh with the pretext of selling them plots in a housing project in Sohna.
Builder allegedly captivates partners through online advertising.
Shashi Parkash and his wife wanted to build a house in Gurgaon and while looking for property on the internet, they found the project and the developer of Lotus’s dream.
In March 2020, Parkash received a call from the Lotus group builder and he was told that they had started a housing project – the mother of the mother blessed – in the village of Ghamroj Sohna.
The caller also told the parkash that the project had all the necessary agreements from the government and shared documents related to the same thing.
After completing the agreement, Parkash transferred the number of tokens and ordered two plots of 250 square meters each.
On March 16, Parkash visited Gurgaon and he was taken to the site.
After that he paid Rs 6 lakh and signed an agreement.
Prakash wanted to complete the registration process but was told that Rajan Singh, Director of Lotus Group, had gone to Lucknow for several days.
“Because the Covid case increased, I did not wait and return to Maharashtra,” he said.
In July, he returned to Gurgaon and made further payments, including stamp duty fees.
This time, he was told that the registration process had been suspended by the government.
After making a total payment of Rs 30 Lakh, he returned to Gurgaon in August and when Parkash contacted the builder, he could not be contacted.
Then, Parkash knew that the project had not been approved by the government.
“Initially, Builder agreed to restore the number but refused after a few weeks,” he said.
The Lotus Group Director cannot be contacted for his comments.
A pine has been submitted down 420 (cheating), 476 (forgery) and other parts of the IPC at the Badhshapur police station.
