Building slab collapsed in Ulhasnagar, no one was injured

Thane: In what could be a big accident, the building slab collapsed at Ulhasnagar City of Thane Maharashtra Regency on Saturday, sent local residents to an anxiety.
However, no injury or victim has been reported.
The incident occurred in a number of camp 4 of Ulhasnagar, when part of the residential structure of Venkat Sadan Three Storeyed in the Subhash Tekdi area came down in the middle of heavy rain.
The fire of the personnel of the Brigade and officials Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) reached the place as fast as the accident was reported.
“The building has been inhabited by very few people and therefore, there are no fatalities and property.
The structure has now been evacuated and residents have been transferred to a safer place,” UMC Public Relations Yuvraj Bhadane told Tii Online.
In the past three months, as many as 12 people had lost their lives in Ulhasnagar after parts of two buildings collapsed in two separate incidents.
Some injured people and three buildings were also evacuated after several parts of them had fallen.
