Building underpasses or FOB in IMT Chowk, say Manesarans

Gurgaon: With poor visibility in the city because of the smog, residents and industrialists in Manesar have demanded an underpass or foot overbridge (FOB) and better traffic management at IMT Chowk on Jalan Raya Delhi-Jaipur for pedestrian safety and flow of vehicles fine.
Some residents said the area turned into a big black spot during the winter.
Some accidents have been reported in Chowk, they said.
Some residents said the national highway across IMT Chowk, where one side of the intersection was crowded with commercial companies and the other was a residential area.
High-speed vehicle ply on stretching and is risky to pass the intersection during the winter when the fog reduces visibility, they said.
“This particular place becomes very dangerous on winter morning or at night when visibility falls.
In addition to high-speed highway traffic, heavy vehicles from various industries in the area are also ply stretches.
As a result, accidents on the road are very common here and Every year we see some losing lives for a fatal road accident.
The authorities must do something so that pedestrians and two-wheeled can cross the highway without risking their lives at any time, “said Manesar Sector 1 President Rwa Shashi Yadav.
Industrialists, meanwhile, demand a better traffic management system and enforce strict traffic rules.
While the section supports the demands of occupants to build underpasses or FOB, others say there will be complexity in building such structures and demanding better traffic management.
