Bukuninath Temple Daily Langar Service Plans Immediately

Ranchi: Basukinath temple, the temple of Lord Shiva is respected in Dumka district, aiming to become Jharkhand Golden Temple (Amritsar, Punjab) by issuing Langars for worshipers every day.
Dumka District Administration is currently working on a plan in this regard along with the overhaul of the entire temple area to attract religious tourists throughout the year.
Derkka Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla said they had made plans to Langar but stressed that it is still in the nascent stage.
Shukla said the idea was conceptualized during a meeting with representatives of Basukinath Panda Dharmrakshani Sabha earlier this week.
Talking to TOI over the phone on Sunday, Shukla said, “In addition to the Temple of Baba Baidhyanathdham in Deoghar, Basukinath too, is an important place of Lord Shiva where some worshipers come mainly during the month Shivan every year.
Now, our idea is to improve the facilities and cleanliness overall in and around the Temple Basukinath that attract tourists nationally and globally.
“another official stated that the administration is working on the development plan for the next year given the Shravani Mela next year.
“Our other plans include giving a facelift to Kalkatiya Dharamshala, change the path to the Temple kanwariya of Latiyajoriya Basukinath, beauty Shivganga and add more dharamshalas in that area,” he said.
Manoj Panda, principal office bearers of Basukinath Panda Dharmrakshani Sabha, which is part of a meeting about improvements Basukinath, said discussions are held on the service Langar and said modalities being worked out for the post-covid.
“During the meeting, we all praised the idea.
Amenities such exists at the main temple in the whole country where everyone irrespective of caste, creed and economic status enjoyed ‘prasad’.
If the government and administration successfully launched, it will definitely give you the dimensions new to the temple, “he said, stressing that the right temple repairs to improve the facility has long been demanded by many people, the majority rely solely on the temple for their livelihood.
“Around 600 families of priests and thousands of others like businessmen hoteliers and shopkeepers dependent on the temple Basukinath for their income.
