Bulgaria Ran Skimming Scam from his room at Andheri Hotel

Mumbai: The city crime branch has claimed to have broken the main credit / debit card with the arrest of Bulgarian citizens from three-star hotels in Andheri on Sunday.
The Crime Unit 7 branch on Sunday caught Fergier Vensislav Donchor (45) which is a member of the Gang Skimmer key.
The source said that while they had caught Fergier, they were looking for another Bulgarian national involved in the racket.
Mumbai police suspect that both are part of an international gang instrumental in sucking money from the ATM machine through a skimming device.
On November 26, the Goregaon police station official has registered a violation of XOF fraud, forgery against unknown people after a local file complaint.
Locally stated that even though he had not used his debit card, he finally lost Rs 6,680.
Allegedly someone has absorbed his money through skimming.
Police said that several other people from the same localities had filed a false complaint from their bank account.
The Defendant’s modus operandi was secretly installing a skimming machine at the ATM Center, police said.
He allegedly stole credit card credentials and customer discharge using a skimmer device.
By using that information, he will then make a cloning card and withdraw money from a bank account from people from the ATM kiosk.
The crime of the city crime, which carries a parallel investigation into this, has a special tip-off that foreign nationals are involved in scaming fraud and that this person lives in a hotel in Andheri.
The crime branch team led by Inspector Manish Shridhankar and Priya Thorat invaded the hotel room from where the police arrested Fergier.
The police also confiscated two cellphones, and laptops used to make duplicate debit / credit cards.
“In Goregaon’s case, we studied CCTV recordings at at least 40 to 50 people losing their money.
CCTV footage matches the defendant who was arrested.
In addition, we also collect technical evidence of the tower location among other details.” Source said.
The police said that they had caught their passport and had told the Bulgarian embassy about the arrests and other escape suspects.
The police said the defendant was also seen in the CCTV footage of the case registered at the Navhar police station at Mulund.
