Noida: Two people who passed a gunshot wound after the bullet was fired during a fight between the two groups in an anger incident at Jiota Greater Noida.
Two people have been detained so far.
Police said two young men, Ankit and Lala, traveled by bicycle around 9pm on Sunday night.
When they were near Minaz Mosque in the Jahangirpura Jewar area, the duo lost his balance and accused a pedestrian, Schan, pushed them.
“Sarchand walked on foot with the same direction as the two young men and he accidentally elided Ankit.
Even though Ankit did not suffer a big injury, an argument broke between him and Sarchand and they exchanged violations.
Sarchand called out some friends and relatives, who Allegedly hit Ankit.
Then, Ankit also called his friends, following a fight, “said a police officer.
During the fight, some youth – one of each side – start shooting from the stating-made gun.
A police officer said at least five or six rounds were fired.
Bullet finally about two young men who passed the area – Monu and Arif, both of them were 22 years old.
None of them have a relationship with the fight or the people involved in it.
While Monu was in the ICU, Arif had to undergo surgery at one of his legs.
Sau Sau Monu told Toi that the family saw him walking towards them and crying for help.
“He returned from the field when he was shot in the neck during a cross fire.
Many people have gathered in that place but can’t see anything because it’s very dark.
My brother can’t talk much because of his shot.
He just asked us to save him and then fainted .
We took him to the Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida, “he said.
Dr.
Meenakshi, CMO Kailash Hospital, said Monu had undergone surgery and was in the ICU.
“It’s stable but in observations,” he added.
Arif, who worked as a vegetable seller, was taken to Kailash Hospital in the Jewar.
After the operation of his legs, his family members took him to another hospital in Aligarh.
Dr.
Ak Singh, a medical supervisor at Kailash Hospital, said Arif was stable.
On the basis of complaints by Monu’s father, the police plane ordered several unknown people in Section 307 (efforts to kill) IPC.
At least two people have been detained and questioned, said ACP-4 Rudra Pratap Singh.
Meanwhile, the police had been deployed in the area as a group – one led by Sarchand and his friend Munish Ali and the others consisting of Ankit, Lala, Pawan and Sachin – belonging to a different community.
Additional DCP (Greater Noida) Vishal Pandey said this was done as a “precautionary measure”.
