City: Bundi Utsav two days arranged to start with the worship of God Ganesh at Gates Taragarh who is famous for Garh Ki Paras in Bundi City on Monday after Covid-19.
Organized together by the state tourism department and district administration with the intention of attracting foreign tourists and increasing local tourism, Bundi Utsaav will witness the event chain in the next two days.
Ironically, this year’s event will see minimal foreign tourists because of pandemic restrictions caused by travel.
However, Bundi District collector Renu Jaipal asked people and tourists to participate in two Bundi Utsav days to make successful events.
Given the obedience of the Covid-19 protocol, the celebration previously organized at the sub-division headquarters, will be locked up at the district headquarters, Tourist Official Assistant Premechankar Saini said on Sunday.
After God’s worship Ganesh, various people’s events will be presented by groups of artists at popular tourist sites in the city, he said.
For two days, tourists will be allowed to enter free to popular tourist sites and monuments in the city, he said, adding to various recreational events planned for Monday night.
Deepdan, where the soil lights turned on and covered above the waters of the lake Nawal Sagar in the city, it will also be held on Monday night, Saini said.
Painting competitions and exhibitions that highlight Bundi’s tradition and culture will be displayed, he said.
On the second day, the drawing and painting workshop will be held at the expensive Sukh located on the edge of the lake Sagar Jait, he said.
Sukh expensive is also popular as Rudyard Kipling Palace as a British novelist and poet once lived in the palace for more than a month.
