Coimbatore: A 28-year-old Burglar, who has come out of Sathyamangalam sub-prison in a guarantee 10 days ago, has been arrested for breaking into a house in Selvapuram and tamping with gold ornaments with heavy ornaments and some silver ornaments.
Selvapuram police have restored the stolen nature of him when he tried to sell it.
A police officer identified the defendant as Selvaraj, a native of Goripallayam in the Madurai district.
A Loadman, he has lived with his family in Telungupalayam in the city.
The officer said the special team led by Sub-Inspector Marimuthu had found selvaraj roaming the city hall in a suspicious way on Sunday night.
The team picked him up for an investigation and checked his bag.
“They found gold and silver ornaments in his bag.
He told them that the bag was found on the road in Selvapuram and he planned to sell ornaments on Jalan Raja.” Meanwhile, the team verified the detail of selvaraj and knew him involved in the robbery at Amul Nagar at Amul.

“He has broken into the 64-year gold house P Varadharajan when the homeowner and other family members are somewhere.” Selvapuram police then arrested Selvaraj on Sunday night and he was then sent in the holding of judges.
The officer said Selvaraj was submitted in Sathyamangalam sub-prison for breaking into the house of J J.
Saravana Ashokkumar, a motorcycle mechanic from Lic Colony, on September 15 and sudden with gold ornaments with a weight of 20 sovereign.
