Burner fuel savings from IIT-Guwahati immediately regarding the market

Guwahati: India-Guwahati Institute of Technology has been transferred to energy-saving and environmentally friendly technology partners developed for cooking stoves by researchers for commercialization.
A research team led by P Muthukukar, Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Guwahati, has developed ‘porous radiation burners’ for cooking stoves, which can save fuel in the range of 25 to 50%.
They can be operated with LPG, biogas, and kerosene.
This technology has been transferred to M / s industrial partners.
AGNISUKH ENERGY SOLUTIONS Private Ltd, Bangalore for commercialization.
“The MoU for transferring this technology was signed on Thursday.
This effort will be the main contribution of IIT Guwahati to the government’s efforts to increase access to clean cooking energy by promoting LPG, biogas and increased stoves (IC) through various policies and programs,” said Iit Guwahati .
Highlighting the unique aspects of the ‘Radiant Burner Pore,’ Muthukukar, said, “This cook stove that was accidentally developed was equipped with a double-plated DRR designed specifically providing fuel savings in the range of 25-50% and reducing emissions around 80%.
The new DRR developed is very suitable for both gas fuel such as LPG, Biogas, PNG and liquid fuel such as kerosene, methanol and ethanol, for domestic and community / commercial cooking.
“Speaking on that occasion, TG Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati, said new technology will play a key role in reducing overall fuel consumption in the cooking sector, which leads to annual savings of 50,000 rs.
Furthermore, it will also provide a better cooking environment by reducing emissions.
