Letter: Even two days after Inferno’s personal bus, the city police did not understand the reason for the sudden flames that finished the life of a young woman from Bhavnagar.
While police officials said they were waiting for the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report, some victims claimed when talking to the media that the bus was loaded with very flammable fluid parcels including cleaners and chemicals used in scaling diamonds.
Personal bus Rajdhani Travels had been burned when starting his journey to Bhavnagar on Tuesday night.
People also heard two explosions when the fire broke out.
All passengers managed to escape, but the couple, who had returned from Goa after celebrating their first wedding anniversary and returned to their original Bhavnagar, stranded on the bus.
Tanya (30) died while her husband Vishal Navlani (32) survived with a serious injury.
The investigator who seriously suspected that the fire might have been triggered because of several technical errors in the AC unit, but then it was revealed that the bus was not AC.
An officer involved in the investigation said, “the sample was sent to the FSL and they analyzed it.
It was too early to declare the cause of the fire.”
