New Delhi: In an effort aimed at helping teenagers acquire business skills, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday launched the ‘Business Blasts’ program for class 11 and 12 class students.
“Business Blasts program will function as a milestone in the history of the country’s progress.
It has been launched for students of Government Class Schools Delhi 11-12, “said Sisodia during the launch of the program at the Thyagaraj Stadium in the National Capital.
Speaking on that occasion, he also emphasized the youth who became a work creator rather than job seekers.
“That day is not far away when youth will create jobs rather than asking for it.
We must make pictures that India is a literary and capable youth country who does not ask for work but creates it,” he said.
Sisodia, who is also Minister of Education Delhi, said the country did not have enough work for young people who had completed their education and added that the Delhi government would regulate competition at the district and state levels.
“Under this program, children will be trained for entrepreneurial skills.
Competition will be held at the district and state level.
A total of 1,000 children will be eligible for the district level competition from which 10 winners will get direct reception.
To Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGdTuw), Delhi Technology University (DTU), Teacher Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSUP) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), “said Sisodia.
The ‘Business Blasts’ program began at the School of Excellence in Khichripur under the pilot project.
The aim is to instill confidence in children that whatever work they do, they have to do it with an entrepreneurial mindset.
In this project, nine groups consisting of 41 children were formed and every child was given a seed of seed minimum RS 1,000.
These children make a big profit in this project.
