New Delhi: A 58-year-old man who was engrossed on his cellphone slipped from the Delhi Metro Station platform and fell to the railway, but was saved by CISF personnel on patrol assignments, officials said on Saturday.

“Constable Rothash Chandra from the CISF fast reaction team acted quickly and resigned on the Metro line and pulled the passengers out of the lane, before the arrival of the Metro train.
Passengers have a small scratch on the legs,” said a CISF spokesman.
Passengers, residents of Shahdara Region in the National Capital, immediately left the station, he said.
