Thane: A Thane-based teacher, who recovered from Covid in August 2020, got a rough surprise on Tuesday when a caller reported from the Department of Birth and Civic Corporation’s death told him about ‘demise’ because of SARS-2 infection in April.
This is the latest in a series of covid related keys conducted by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) – from exchanging corpses to three times vaccination.
On Wednesday, the audio clip of telephone conversations between Teachers, Chandrashekhar Desai (55), and a city staff became viral.
During a one-minute call, the staff sounded asking the desire about the details just to tell him that, according to the note, he was dead.
The caller immediately apologized and disconnected the call after the desire questioned the hose.
He went to TMC headquarters and saw his name on the list of died patients.
“I am not allowed to click on the note image.
I was told there might be some mistakes on the department,” Desai said.
However, TMC officials on Wednesday told TII that his officials only examined the cross data 16 cases of deaths sent by cells of the state-integrated disease supervision program (IDSP), according to the protocol.
Data related to death verified at the local level and sent back to the country before being uploaded on the national database.

Vaijayanati Deoghekar said: “Innocent corporations because we only verify the names of the deceased sent to us every day.
This is the first incident that has been highlighted in Thane and we feel there are some mistakes somewhere.
We have reminded the country about the same thing, “he said.
