Buyback Promise: Developers are ordered for cheating buyers

Written by news2in

Gurugram: Developers based in Gurugram and their directors have been ordered for allegedly deceiving buyers of Rs 89 Lakh.
The complainant, Reena Setyhi, is a resident of Dwarka Delhi.
He ordered a flat in a housing project in Sector 76 for RS 89 Lakh in September 2016.
Realtor, Ninex Developers, promised to buy flat back after a certain period.
The developer gave two checks as payments, but they were returned by the bank without being reinforced because the account was blocked, he accused.
Ninex representatives denied mistakes.
“We are looking for legal opinions in this case,” said the representative.
Reena, meanwhile, said he ordered a flat of 1,952 square feet on the G-Block of Ninex City.
“According to the purchase scheme, the developer has provided a guarantee to repurchase the unit for RS 1.2 Crore at any time after October 2019.
The developer also issued two checks of Rs 58 lakh and Rs 60 lakh to me,” he said.
But the project was far from the completion and construction of G-Block, where Reena had ordered a flat, not even starting in October 2019.
“I saved the check given by the builder because I wanted to sell my flat.
The bank returned to say the account was blocked, “Reena said.
Unable to get help from Ninex, Reena approached Gurugram police for registration of FIR, but no cases asked.
Finally, he approached the Turugram court at the end of 2019.
In the direction of the court this week, a FIR was registered with the developer and his director under the SECC 403 (dishonestly misused moving properties), 406 (violations of trust), 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery), 468 (forging documents), 471 (using fake documents), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 34 (general intentions) IPC at the Sector 50 police station on Thursday.
