Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested the General Manager Assistant (GMS) from the BVG Company for allegedly giving RS 12 Lakh bribes to two officials posted in Rajasthan Skill and Liverihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC).
DG (ACB) B L L Soni said that Devesh Chauhan was accused of giving bribes to RSLDC officials through the Amit Sharma intermediary.
Soni said that ACB arrested Chauhan after investigators strengthened the last involvement in the case of bribery.
ACB on September 11 has ACB damaging the racket of corruption in RSLDC and arresting two employees, the coordinator of the Ashok Sangwan and Rahul Kumar Garg scheme, a lecturer assistant who did representatives as a corporate manager.
The agency has also confiscated cellphones from two IAS officers, the Chair of the Neeraj K Pawan and MD Pradeep K Gawande to investigate their roles.
The two defendants have been searching for that number as a substitute for cleaning a delayed bill and to give permission to continue the training program by a complainant.
Sources at Agency said that during the investigation they learned that a private company was also suspected of facilitating bribery through intermediaries.
As researchers examined bribery rackets, the name Chauhan appeared during an investigation.
“The Prima Facie investigation shows that the kickback is given to remove the company from the blacklist,” said an official.
ACB officials said that senior BVG and RSLDC officials were under the scanner because of their alleged involvement in bribery racquets.
“We are investigating to know exactly who ordered bribery and how all illegal transactions were carried out,” said an official.
On Tuesday, ACB arrested a BVG senior official for taking a bribe of Rs 75,000.
Rahul Bodke was arrested for taking bribes by promising permission to separate glass bottles, plastic, etc.
from the waste disposal site.
