The New Delhi tournament: India Open Super 500 and Hyderabad Open Super 100 are canceled by Badminton World Federation (BWF), which announces the international calendar that has been changed to save the remaining season which is influenced by Pandemic Covid-19.
USD 400,000 India Open, which should be one of the qualifications for the Tokyo Olympics, is scheduled to be held from May 11 to 16 but postponed in April due to the increasing Covid case in the national capital.
USD 1.00,000 open hyderabad is scheduled to be held from August 24 to 29.
However, Syed Modi International Super 300 Tournaments, scheduled to be held in Lucknow from 12 to 17 October, remain at that time, according to the new calendar.
In another announcement, BWF on Monday said that Finland will host the Sudirman Cup final in September-October while the final of the World World Final will be performed in Indonesia.
China is scheduled to host the Sudirman Cup final and the World Tour final but BWF decides to move the two events out of the country because of the restrictions of Covid-19.
The APEX Agency also decided to encourage the prestigious world championship, to be held in Spain in December, two weeks.
