BWF Gives Prakash Padukone Lifetime Achievement Award

New Delhi: Indian Badminton Great Prakash Padukone will receive this year’s Prestique Lifetime Achievement award from the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
The BWF council stores Indian legends based on the recommendation of the award commission.
The Indian Badminton Association (BAI) has sent its name for this award.
Former World No.
1 and the first Indian world championship winner, Padukone has contributed greatly to the game.
In 2018, he was also respected by Achievement award for a lifetime Bai.
For the Agreement Service Award, the BWF Board has nomined Devender Singh, President of the Hanyana Badminton Association, Sa Shetty, Secretary General of the Association of Badminton Maharashtra, Dr Ony Sharma, Vice President Bai and Chair of the Saha Manik Tournament Committee.
Ashok Alaknanda, who is the President of the Uttarakhand Badminton Association, will receive a female & gender equity award.
He has been associated with badminton government for years.

His contribution is very large in taking Indian badminton to the place today,” said Secretary General Bai Singhania Ajay.
