Byappanahalli to the time of the Kengeri metro trip up to 48 minutes

Bengaluru: Starting on Monday, the Metro Train will include a stretch of byappanahalli-cengeri (25km) in the purple line in 48 minutes.
Kengeri Metro (MySuru Road-Kengeri) was inaugurated on August 29.
Until Sunday, the travel time between the two points was 52 minutes.
The Nagasandra-Silk Green Line Institute section (30km) takes 55 minutes, said Head of BMRCL Public Relations officer BL Yathwanth Chavan.
Mobility activists, however, said the time of the METRO trip must be calculated by taking into account the time needed to cover the first and final miles, to buy tickets, access platforms and wait for the train.
They show that a passenger traveling by road between cengeri and byappanahalli during non-peak hours takes about an hour now.
This means there is no major time difference for those traveling through roads and metro from Byappanahalli in the east and cengeri in the southwest during non-peak hours.
The frequency of metro trains between byappanahalli and cengeri is 10 minutes.
Separately, the frequency of the BMTC feeder bus is between 15 and 45 minutes.
Experts, at the same time, say, while road traffic cannot be predicted, Metro reliable, timely and environmentally friendly.
CV Raman Nagar Resident Suresh K, said: “If I drive from Byappanahalli to Kengeri, it will take less than an hour during non-peak hours, but on the metro takes almost an hour for the train trip itself.
Nothing The adequate bus feeder of Raman Nagar CV to the Byappanahalli or SV Road metro station Jayaraman, RR Nagar Resident and Transport Expert, said: “It can’t be compared to it “The Savior metro during Peak HourbMRCL officials say the average metro speed is around 32kmph and the maximum allowed speed is 70kmph.
“During rush hour, the road trip takes more than 1 hour and 30 minutes.
So, the metro is a decent transportation,” Chavan said.
Asked about the increasing speed of the train, Chavan said: “…
Metro runs at maximum speed allowed in various parts.” On the operating train with a limited stop to reduce travel time between the terminal station, he said: “The proposal is impossible because commuting will face a lot of trouble.” “Curve, gradient, topographic conditions, stations, railroad density, passenger / time reservoirs are some factors that affect speed,” Chavan added.
The Mysuru Road-Kengeri section has around 20 curves, which slows the train.
Abhishek R rail fans said: “Unfortunately BMRCL does not change the alignment.
They just followed the road route that had too many curves.” BMRCL Managing Director Anjum Parvez said: “Another important thing is Metro Travel offers comfort and there is no deployment of travel on the road on the road The middle of a solid traffic, “said a call for a better connectivity of Mulukutla from the World Resources Institute, an NGO, said:” Network path path connected within a 2-3 km radius from the station and a mile service that efficiently will make the metro system very useful for end users.
Therefore, strong transit-oriented development and multi-capital integration is very important.
“Sanjeev Dyamannavar, commuter train activists, said:” Bad frequency of trains and integration with other modes such as BMTC and the train station add to travel time.
Also , We do not have a common mobility card for multi-capital trips.
Factors or this adds a minimum.
15-20 minutes for the actual travel time “
