Jaipur: Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday announced the date for Bypolls to two seat assembly Dhariawad (ST Seat) in Pratapgarh and Vallabhnagar in Udaipur Regency in the state.
According to the selection schedule, voting will be held on October 30 and the vote count will take place on November 2.

Election notifications for both seats will be published on October 1.
Nominations can be submitted until October 8, chairs must be chaired after the MLA Congress from Vallabhnagar Gajendra Singh Shakawat died of Covid-19 on January 20, and BJP legislators from Dhariawad Gautam Lal Meena died of infection on May 19.
The powerful Congress currently has 106 MLA in 200 members of the Rajasthan Assembly, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has 71, the Loktantrik Rashtriya Party (RLP) three, CPM and the Tribal Bharatiya Party (BTP) respectively, Rashtriya Lok Dal One and Independent 13.

This will be a prestige battle for both parties to at least maintain the chair they have held.
In addition to Bypolls in Rajasthan, EC also announced Bypolls to three seats and 28 other assembly chairs in various countries.
