NEW DELHI: A taxi driver died after his car was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a Delhi Police constable below the Barapulla flyover at the south-eastern area of the town, officials said Saturday.
The incident happened late Friday night, along with the deceased was recognized since Prempal of Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, he stated.
Constable Mohit, that had been driving the car that struck the taxi, had been Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast) R Meena stated.
“Mohit is a constable from the Delhi Police and has been introduced in New Delhi district.
His dad, Hariom, is a sub-inspector,” Meena said.
