Cabbie’s violation of the AC rider, got a 6-month prison

Mumbai: A metropolitan judge in Mumbai has punished a 34-year-old Ola Taxi driver to abuse and threaten a man and elderly parents at WEE for hours traveling from the airport.
The court punished the driver, Y a Suranje, up to six months of a hard prison sentence to insult the simplicity of a woman, intentional provocations and criminal intimidation under the Criminal Procedure.
Magistrate S A R Suked in Andheri Court also ordered it to pay Rs 2,000 and, in Deolong, suffering one month.
Sequence 24 January was in the complaint submitted by Samer Sahani who took a taxi at the airport at 3am.
When the family asked the air conditioner to be turned on, he spoke to the mother of elderly and abused it.
One question before the court was: “Does the prosecution proves that, accused of using harsh words intending to insult the politeness of the informant mother?” The court said the answer was “yes”.
