Cabinet Rejigs Minority Scholarship Ratio

Thiruvananthapuram: The government decided to revise the ratio for minority scholarships.
The decision was taken in the cabinet on Thursday to offer scholarships to all minority communities on the basis of their population in the 2011 census, in compliance with high court orders.
Just as, the population of Christian and Muslim communities respectively is 18.38% and 26.56%, while Buddhists, Jain and Sikh are 0.01% each.
