Cabinet Revamped Government Modi: Who gets what

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expanded his Union Cabinet on Wednesday, bringing in 36 new faces and promoting seven existing ministers.
As many as 12 top ministers were dropped from the new Cabinet.
This is the first Cabinet reshuffle since PM Modi assumed charge for a second term in May 2019.
As many as 43 ministers were sworn in at a ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, including 15 as Cabinet ministers and 28 as ministers of state.

Seven ministers who were already a part of Modi’s Cabinet have been promoted.
The seven are Kiren Rijiju, Hardeep Singh Puri, G Kishan Reddy, Mansukh Mandaviya, Anurag Thakur, G Kishan Reddy,Former IAS officer Ashwini Vaishnaw is the new railways and IT minister while Mansukh Mandaviya has been made the health minister in the new Union Cabinet.
Jyotiraditya Scindia will be taking charge of the civil aviation ministry while Kiren Rijiju will be the new law minister.
