MEERUT: Former Deputy Chairperson of the Meerut Development Authority (MDA), Rajesh Kumar Yadav, was approved for himself a 30,000 square foot bungalow with a swimming pool, gym, sauna, and snooker table tennis rooms and when he was in the office.

CAG marks the “thorough” plan in its audit report on the ‘Undertakings of the Economic & Public Sector, the Government of Uttar Pradesh’ submitted in the Assembly on Thursday.
In two orders 2009 and 2011, the upper government had decided a 2,426 square foot hat for residence officials at the bracket belonging to the Deputy Chair of the MDA, the report said.
The agreement for the residence of the official comes from the MDA council, where the Deputy Chair came after the Division Commissioner.
In 2013 and 2014, Yadav was the Secretary of MDA and in 2015 and 2016, Deputy Chairperson.
Construction began in May 2015.
It was a large project – a home of 20,000 square feet and a “recreation” area of 9,700 square feet.
The area was more than 12 times what vice chairman did.
More than RS 8 Crore spent – Land has more costs than RS 5 Crore and construction almost Rs 3 Crore – when the project was dropped in December 2016.
